		<description>In this case that is not the case  sicne thisi s an HACMP cluster. When you havena HACMP cluster  the broker will not recognize the difference between the physical node and the virtual node and thus will not connecto the standby . This is a known issue and Oracle has stated it does not support non RAC server clusters for dataguard broker.
This policy has changed a little with 11g but only if 11g clusterware is being used</description>

		<description>I got this same error once and in my case it was simply a case of the SYS password not being the same on the Standby as compared to the Primary. Once I got the passwordfile xfrd to the standby all went well :-)</description>
